Yes! We appreciate online orders because they help us manage our inventory between the greenhouse and the retail nursery, but we always try to keep our retail benches stocked.

We grow all the plants we sell, so when plants are sold out, we can’t simply order more. However we grow several “crops” of each species per season, so it is likely we will have more plants coming ready for sale at a later date. If we are sold out for the season, this will be noted in the description.

Ecotypes are populations of native plants that have adapted to a location. For example, Asclepias tuberosa (butterfly weed) has a native range that spans from Maine to South Dakota to the desert southwest to Florida. When gardening with this species in the Northeast, it is preferable to use a local ecotype, rather than one from a different region with an entirely different climate.

Tiny Meadow Farm is a plant nursery—we put all of our effort into growing high-quality plants and do not do large design or installation projects. We do offer consulting services at your property for gardeners seeking individualized help with plant selection, site improvements, garden health, etc. Please send us an inquiry here.
