In late spring, the plants are covered in shimmering flowers that provide wonderful movement. In bloom, plants reach 18-24”. Often remaining evergreen, this diminutive clump-grass seems to thrive in sandy, rocky, and extremely well-draining soils. Like many woodland species, Deschampsia flexuosa is a slow-grower.
