Campanula rotundifolia | harebell

Harebell is a gem of a plant that begins flowering in early June and has one of the longest bloom times, lasting for almost a month and then re-blooming in late summer. With a tiny basal rosette of foliage, the flowers are borne on wiry stems creating a mass of purple, bell-shaped flowers all under 15”. This plant can tolerate dry soils, but it is easily overgrown by larger species, so plant it on an edge or with other low-growing plants. We love harebell with pussytoes, nodding onion, and stiff-leaved aster. Thrives in full to part sun. Space at 9-12” for best coverage. Plug trays available by request.

Offered in deep QTs only.
